The Bay Hammock Company, located in Seabright, Nova Scotia, makes hand made hammocks, hammock swings and custom-size shade sails which are sold across North America. For those of you with small children, custom-sized sandbox covers made from Coolaroo (see below) fabric are available. A beautiful porch swing made with Sunbrella fabric is new product we are just introducing.
The main focus of our company is on hand made quality and comfort.
We make the rope for our best hammocks ourselves. This allows us to build in the strength required for a long life and yet maintain the softness of weave required for a comfortable nap. All rope is treated for UV and mildew protection.
If you have a spot for a hammock but need a special size, it is no problem, because we hand make every rope hammock, custom sizes are available at no extra cost.
Shade sails are an intriguing product, originally developed in Australia, that provide elegant, affordable comfort and protection from the sun for your outdoor living areas – patio, backyard, any area you want to shade. Properly designed, custom shade sails can enhance your property with artistic or architectural flair and style.
Each custom shade sail we make is designed to meet your specific needs and is available in 2 different fabrics: awning-grade Sunbrella or Coolaroo – a fabric developed in Australia specifically for shade sails.
