The Bay Hammock Company is a member of the Atlantic Économusée® Network. An Économusée is an enterprise that demonstrates the use of traditional skills and knowledge in the production of fine crafts and specialty foods.The International Économusée® Network Society is a not for profit society with a mandate to conserve traditional know-how, by working with businesses involved in the production of traditional crafts in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and in other regions, nationally and internationally. Each Économusée is funded entirely through the sale of its products.
At The Bay Hammock Company Économusée you will find skilled artisans who braid fiber into rope, then weave the rope into a hammock designed to make your nap time as comfortable as possible.
